Whale Watching
The whales on the South Coast begin to appear in late September and continue through to mid November during their annual migration south to the Antarctic. It really is an opportunity not to be missed. To be out on the water in full view of these magnificent creatures as they pass through our waters. The most common whales seen are the Humpbacks, along with their calves. Other whales seen are the Southern Right and Killer Whales. They put on a great display leaping clear out of the water as they breach and just generally observing them in their natural habitat.
There are also plenty of marine animals to see on these tours such as Dolphins, Seals and Penguins. We depart on daily tours at 8.30am and return at 11.30am. We only take a maximum of 12 passengers on our trips, which ensures you get the best view of the whales. Try our whale watching packages.
